The Leather used in this product comes from tanneries audited and certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). LWG certification is the highest environmental standard in leather tanning, requiring tanneries to reduce the use of water, energy and potentially hazardous substances. The tanneries we work with in Europe are loyal partners who work with the brand to practice responsible sourcing and continuous improvement (including implementing raw material traceability systems, stopping deforestation, etc.).

Product maintenance

In order to maintain the beauty of the Damier Azur series, we recommend that you carefully read the following product care guidelines:

Be careful not to rub or rub the product against rough surfaces, especially leather trims.

Keep the product dry and place it away from direct heat sources (away from radiators, avoid leaving handbags in the carriage in summer).

Avoid contact with oily substances, cosmetics, perfumes, hydroalcohol solutions, and other materials (including magazines, other leather, etc.) that may cause product color mixing.

Avoid contact with moisture. If the surface of the product is wet by accident, use a light-colored, non-shedding absorbent cloth to dry the water stain. Do not use soap or cleaning solution.

Once the lining is stained or slightly stained, we recommend that you gently wipe the product with a soft, light-colored cloth to clean it.

When not in use, please store the product in the cotton bag that came with the purchase.

Damier Azur Canvas:

Although the canvas is more prone to stains than others, it is easy to clean: you simply wipe the canvas layer with a soft, light-colored cloth dampened with water. When cleaning, be careful not to touch the leather part.

Avoid prolonged contact with anything that may stain the product (such as magazines, fabrics, and leather). Light colored canvas can't be repaired if it becomes discolored.

Cow leather:

The trim of the product is made of cow leather, and its outer leather is made of vegetable tanned leather. The leather will show some marks and irregularities. This type of leather is especially resistant to pulling, and over time, the leather will show a charming luster.
